Terms of Service

1. Presentation of the service

Parentello is a web and mobile service published and operated by DGL Tech Labs, a French limited liability company (SARL). It helps separated parents organize their children's daily lives through calendars, messaging, expenses, handoffs, family information, files and documents. Some features are free and others require Premium; availability may depend on the plan, platform and gradual rollout.

2. Access conditions

Using the service requires a personal account. Users must be adults, act within their parental rights and responsibilities, provide accurate information and protect their credentials. Each parent must use their own account and must not disclose their password or private calendar link to a third party.

3. User obligations

Users remain responsible for the messages, photos, documents and other information they add or share. They must respect the rights of the other parent, children and third parties, limit data to what is necessary and check the selected visibility. The following are prohibited in particular:

• Any offensive, defamatory, aggressive content or content that infringes on the privacy of others.
• Identity theft or using the service for illegal purposes.
• Any attempt to compromise the technical integrity of the platform.

4. Protection of minors

Parentello is not intended for direct use by children. Adults entering data about a minor confirm they are authorized to do so and must provide only information useful for family organization. Health and other sensitive data require particular care and must not be entered in the general Parentello Assistant unless a dedicated feature explicitly requires it.

5. Liability

Parentello provides organization tools and does not decide disputes between users. DGL Tech Labs does not generally pre-screen exchanged content. Guides, AI suggestions, scores, journals and exports are aids: they are not legal or medical advice, official mediation, authentic instruments or guarantees of admissibility.

Users must verify information and generated content before using it. DGL Tech Labs is liable within the limits required by law and is not responsible for use that breaches these terms, events attributable to a user or third party, external unavailability or force majeure.

6. Service Availability

DGL Tech Labs uses reasonable means to maintain the service. Access may nevertheless be interrupted for maintenance, security, updates, technical incidents or external events. Where reasonably possible, significant planned interruptions will be announced.

7. Personal Data

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information on how we process your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The entire platform (source code, design, Parentello brand, logo) is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.

9. Termination

Users can delete their account through the dedicated process. Strictly private content is deleted; items in an already shared family history may remain in anonymized form to preserve the other parent's history, subject to legal retention duties. DGL Tech Labs may suspend an account in cases of abuse, security risk or breach of these terms, taking the seriousness of the situation into account.

10. Modification of TOS

DGL Tech Labs reserves the right to modify these TOS at any time. Users will be informed of significant changes via email or a notification on the platform.

11. Governing Law

These TOS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall be determined under the applicable rules of law.
